About Clarion
Clarion is an independent educational publisher. We write plain-English guides on legal, insurance and personal finance topics so that ordinary people can make informed decisions without needing a lawyer or financial advisor just to understand the basics.
Why We Started
Most people encounter legal, insurance or financial questions at the worst possible moments. A car accident. A job loss. A mortgage application. A health insurance denial. In those moments, clear and honest information matters enormously, and it is often impossible to find.
We built Clarion to fix that. Our guides are written for real people dealing with real situations, not for lawyers or financial professionals who already know the answers.
What We Cover
Our library covers three areas in depth:
- Legal Guides covering accident and personal injury law, employment rights, family law, business law and immigration.
- Insurance Guides covering auto, health, home and life insurance, plus detailed insurer comparisons.
- Finance Guides covering investing, credit and loans, mortgages, retirement planning and alternative assets.
How We Work
Every guide we publish goes through a structured process. We research the topic using authoritative sources, write it in plain language, review it for accuracy, and update it when laws or regulations change. We choose topics based on what readers actually need to know, not what happens to be trending.
We label all content as educational and consistently remind readers to seek professional advice for their specific situations. That distinction matters to us.
Our Independence
Clarion is editorially independent. No advertiser or commercial partner influences what we write, which topics we cover, or what conclusions we reach. When we have commercial relationships, we disclose them clearly. Our readers deserve to know when something is sponsored and when it is not.
